Record the exact version, operating system, controller, and the mission where the issue occurred. Then compare the release notes before changing settings.
Issues documented in release history
The changelog includes fixes for stuttering, softlocks, controller mapping, collision, lighting, grinding, and mission-specific progression. A fix in a newer release does not prove that an older archive contains it.
Performance and compatibility
First-launch stutter, driver-specific behavior, and Linux export issues have community reports. Hardware requirements, universal FPS targets, and a guaranteed fix for every AMD or Steam Deck configuration are not confirmed.
What to include in a useful bug report
Include the version, platform, reproduction steps, whether a clean save reproduces it, and whether mods are installed. Avoid reporting a community guess as an official fix.
